About Curtis' Magic of Reading Show

For the most part Curtis' Magic of Reading Show is just plain fun: Humor, magic, juggling, and lots of audience participation. Yet during it Curtis shares how reading and using the library has played an important part in his life and how it can do the same for others.

As a unique treat, Curtis is assisted in his show by Duo, the world's one and only White "Killer" Dove. (Ok he's not really a "killer" dove, but I couldn't afford a tiger.)

Curtis' Shows are designed to be equally enjoyed by children and adults. The running time of the shows are usually between 40 to 45 minutes in length.

For over 35 years (Started performing when he was ten) Curtis has had the privilege of performing thousands of shows in hundreds of schools and libraries across the Midwest.  He also performs for business groups and civic organizations.

Some of Curtis Past Performances have been for Area Malls and Theme Parks, Including Mall of America.
